Our Chef Einar B. Halldórsson has elaborated a soulful menu which encompasses the main flavors of Kirkjubaejarklaustur, including world reknowned arctic char, famous Icelandic Skyr and fresh rhubarb from our garden. - Shellfish soup with Icelandic scallop and tiger shrimps
- Salat with fennel, apples, pomegranate, pumpkinseeds, croutons, salad cheese, dressingCan be made vegan
- Beetroot carpaccio, pomegranate, hazelnut, Feykir and angelica
- Beef tataki with rhubarb ponzu and potatoes
- Lamb carpaccio with Feykir, blueberries, hazelnuts and green oil
- Smoked haddock with onions, capers, radishes and potato pure
Main course
- Beef ribeye with green peppercorn sauce, potatoes and salad
- Lamb sirloin with celeriac, cabbage, kale, blueberry and arctic thyme glace
- Arctic char with barley, carrot, cauliflower,fennel and shellfish sauce
- Lightly salted cod with cherry tomatoes, fennel, spring onion and potatoesCan be made vegan
- Mushroom risotto with Feykir and pickled vegetables(add chicken for 1.200 kr)
Can be made vegan - Beef burger with kimchi, red onion jam, japanese mayo, Logi cheese and fries
Desserts
- Merange with lemon curd, shortcake crumble, artic thyme and lemon pure
- Rhubarb crumble with local rhubarb and vanilla icecream
- Chocolate Mille feuille with chocolate crémeux, fresh strawberries and salted caramel
